Hello, I’m Tom - a London born, Yorkshire raised, Los Angeles based music executive. I’ve been working in the music industry for 20 years, at record labels, DSPs and brick-and-mortar stores, developing a breadth of expertise across the digital music landscape. I've worked with chart-bothering, record-breaking artists and campaigns in the US, UK and Europe, GRAMMY winners, and some of the most critically acclaimed, boundary-pushing independent artists and labels of our generation.
If you need a plug and play solution for any of the services I can offer below, or are just looking to chat about the latest changes in the music industry, let's talk!
hello@tmdigital.music
I've lead the digital line through the streaming music boom, social media's rise and the explosion of available data, building efficient, effective teams and consistently driving results and growth across the board.
I have a fiercely independent mindset, which continues to form the core of my approach to work and people. Through this, I’ve earned a strong reputation as a deeply knowledgeable, personable, clear and direct digital thought leader and strategist over the last two decades, quoted in the New Statesman, Mixmag, MusicAlly, MusicTech and more on music industry matters.
I prefer to avoid jumping on flavour-of-the-month trends, preferring to take a considered, artist-first, results driven approach to release marketing, focussing on ownership of data, audience building and more.
I’m dry, sarcastic, self deprecating and a joy to work with. If you need a hand with anything I can do, are looking to hire someone on a contract/freelance basis, or are just looking to chat about the latest changes in the music industry, let's talk!
